Yes, the socket delivers up to 100W via USB-C while also handling 16A AC loads in parallel. The internal SMPS design isolates both outputs safely. This ensures no performance drop during dual operation.

Is this compatible with global fast-charging standards?

It supports PD 3.1, PPS, QC5, SCP 40W, and VOOC protocols for fast charging across major devices. The USB-C port adjusts output voltage based on real-time device negotiation. This ensures safe, efficient charging for phones, tablets, and laptops.

What mounting options are available for non-EU installations?

The base design fits EU 60mm round backboxes, while an optional US 2-gang retrofit frame is also available. This allows seamless installs in both residential and commercial builds. No modification is needed for either standard.

How does it manage thermal load during peak use?

The socket uses heat-spreading copper plates and requires a 50mm deep backbox for airflow. Thermal derating starts above 45°C to protect both USB and AC functions. This helps avoid shutdowns in compact or high-temperature setups. 

Can this be used in dust- or moisture-prone areas?

The standard model has IP20 protection, while the IP65 variant includes gasket sealing for added safety. This variant is suitable for semi-outdoor, kitchen, or workshop applications. It protects against ingress while maintaining full performance.
