Maintain at least 0.8 mm for HPDC aluminium and 2.0 mm for GDC components to ensure complete cavity fill, structural integrity, and machinability.Draft Angle Requirements
Design internal walls with a minimum 1° and external walls with minimum 2° draft angle to enable clean die ejection without surface damage or dimensional variation.
Design internal corners with a minimum radius of R0.5 mm to promote smooth metal flow, reduce stress concentrations, and avoid cold-shut defects.
Pre-production die casting simulation to optimise gating location, venting, and solidification sequence, preventing defects before the first shot.
Tool room equipped with lathe and DRO milling machines for die manufacturing, core inserts, and slide mechanisms.
Thermal management practices and precision maintenance routines extend die life and sustain dimensional consistency across high-volume runs.
