Power Requirements

5.5 kW to 2,500 kW (7.5 HP to 3,350 HP) – 3-phase, 380-480V, 50/60 Hz, VFD optional

Wear Resistance Rating

500–700 BHN (Hardness) – High-chrome white iron (27% Cr), rubber-lined, or ceramic-coated

Fluid Compatibility

Abrasive Slurries, Mining Tailings, Dredging, Industrial Waste – pH 2-12

Product Description

-20°C to 120°C (-4°F to 248°F) – Higher temps with special materials

Connection Types & Sizes

Flanged (ANSI/DIN), Victaulic, Threaded – Sizes: 50 mm to 500 mm (2″ to 20″)

Mounting Configuration

Horizontal or Vertical – Baseplate-mounted, cantilever, or submersible designs

Seal System

Expeller Seal, Gland Packing, or Dual Mechanical Seal – API Plan 11/52 support

Efficiency Rating

50% to 75% (lower due to abrasion losses) – Optimized impeller designs available

NPSH Required

3 m to 10 m (10 ft to 33 ft) – Higher for viscous slurries

Speed Range

500 RPM to 1,800 RPM – Lower speeds reduce wear (per ANSI/ISO 5199)

Solids Handling Capability

Up to 70% solids by weight – Particle sizes to 150 mm (6″) with recessed impeller

Certifications & Standards

ISO 9001, ISO 5199, API 610, AMCA – Mining (AS 4087) and dredging compliant

Operating Noise Level

< 85 dB(A) (varies with size/speed)

Coupling System

Heavy-Duty Spacer Coupling (API 671) – Laser-aligned for high torque

Technical Advantages

Slurry movement creates high wear, which weakens normal pumps. We build wet ends using 27% chromium high-chrome white iron or ceramic coating for extreme durability.
Our slurry pumps work in both vertical and horizontal configurations and support both gland packing and mechanical seals with API flushing plans. All designs comply with ISO 5199 or API 610 standards, with NPSH values between 3 and 10 meters for safe suction control.

Industry Applications

Mining Slurry Lines

Transfers tailings and concentrates with low maintenance and high abrasion tolerance.

Dredging Operations

Pumps sand, silt, and debris through long pipelines with low wear loss.

Coal Washeries

Handles fine coal slurry with gland sealing or expeller designs to reduce leak risk.

Mineral Processing Plants

Moves thick slurry between hydrocyclones and flotation cells efficiently.

Tunneling and Drilling Sites

Clears muck and bentonite mix using large-particle recessed impellers.

Industrial Effluent Systems

Treats abrasive wastewater from cement, steel, or ceramic manufacturing.

Slurry Pumps

Fit for Custom Duty Cycles and Site-Specific Demands

Each pumps supports selection for flow, particle size, metallurgy, seal type, and connection standard. Running speed, power range, and impeller geometry are matched to site conditions to limit failure points.
Both vertical and horizontal builds support flexible layouts, while spacer couplings ease drive-end servicing. We also factor in noise, NPSH limits, and head range to help meet strict system integration needs.

Having Doubts? Our FAQ

Check all our Frequently Asked Question

Can we select materials based on slurry type or pH level?

Yes, we offer options like 27% chrome white iron, rubber linings, or ceramic coatings based on abrasion and chemical compatibility. We adjust material combinations based on your slurry’s pH range, temperature, and solids concentration. This helps prevent frequent wear and reduces downtime due to lining failure or corrosion.

How flexible is the seal arrangement based on our operating environment?

We support expeller seals, gland packing, and mechanical seals depending on slurry load and leakage tolerance. We also provide API Plan 11 or 52 support for dual seals if the pump runs under high pressure or hazardous fluids. We help you finalize sealing only after reviewing fluid characteristics and maintenance accessibility.

Can we match the pump’s performance to our site’s head and flow needs without oversizing?

Yes, we calculate impeller trim, number of stages, and speed control to meet just your required head and flow range. Oversizing increases energy bills and underperformance affects process stability, so we work within a narrow efficiency band. We also suggest optional VFD configurations if variable output is required during operation.

Can the slurry pumps footprint be matched with our plant layout or system piping?

We provide both horizontal and vertical configurations with flanged, threaded, or Victaulic connections from 2″ to 20″. You can also choose baseplate mount, submersible, or cantilever based on foundation and access. We support 2D and STEP file sharing upfront for your piping or layout checks.

How long does it typically take to deliver a customized slurry pumps?

Delivery time depends on material selection, design complexity, and required certifications. Standard configurations usually ship within 6 to 8 weeks, while custom orders may take 10 to 14 weeks. We work closely with your project schedule to align production and reduce downtime risks.
