Frigate’s nuclear-grade cables are meticulously designed for Class 1E harsh environment applications within containment areas, offering unmatched resistance to radiation, high ambient temperatures, and chemical exposure. Combining advanced polymer technology with rigorous flame-retardant properties, they guarantee long-term reliability and precise signal integrity during both normal operations and design-basis events (DBE).

What level of quality documentation and traceability accompanies a shipment?

Every production run comes with an exhaustive nuclear quality assurance data package. This includes raw material mill test reports, radiation aging test certifications, flame retardancy compliance records, and a formal Certificate of Conformance (CoC) traceable to Frigate’s QA team.

We require a specialized chemical/corrosive-resistant outer jacket due to containment spray risks. Is this available?

Absolutely. Our technical team can formulate specialized outer jackets engineered to withstand specialized chemical spray environments, including boric acid and sodium hydroxide exposure typically encountered during design-basis accidents.

What is Frigate’s minimum order quantity (MOQ) for custom-engineered nuclear grade runs?

Because nuclear compound formulation and machine calibration are highly specialized, MOQs typically start at 500 meters for standard profiles. However, for initial prototyping, qualifications, or specific maintenance runs, we can discuss custom allocation options.
