How We Delivered

Complex geometries engineered solutions that move businesses forward.

Having Doubts? Our FAQ

What materials are standard for Frigate's aerospace keyhole studs?

We manufacture keyhole studs using high-strength Titanium (Ti-6Al-4V), Inconel 718 for high-temperature applications, and heat-treated alloy steels or aerospace-grade aluminum. Custom material configurations can be processed upon reviewing your engineering drawings.

Can Frigate provide full AS9100 traceability and manufacturing documentation?

Yes. Every shipment includes comprehensive documentation packages, including First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) per AS9102, chemical/physical mill test reports, heat treatment logs, and plating certificates.

How do keyhole studs improve over traditional aerospace fasteners?

The unique keyhole geometry offers an interlocking mechanism that inherently prevents rotation and localized stress concentrations. This allows for faster assembly, exceptional vibration dampening, and reduced wear on mating composite or metallic panels.

Are secondary surface treatments done in-house or by accredited vendors?

All critical finishing processes such as cadmium plating, anodizing, passivation, and non-destructive testing (NDT) are performed under strict Nadcap-accredited or AS9100-certified guidelines to ensure flight-ready compliance.

What is Frigate’s capability for custom dimensions and thread pitches?

We offer extensive customization for thread pitches (including UNJ/UNJF profiles), length variants, and flange geometries. Our engineering team collaborates directly with your procurement teams to adapt the designs to your Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) targets.
