Technical Advantages

Outfitted with premium FEP jacketing, Frigate’s cables maintain mechanical flexibility and high dielectric properties across an ultra-wide temperature range while remaining completely inert to corrosive industrial chemicals. Furthermore, their exceptionally low dielectric constant and low dissipation factor minimize signal attenuation and cross-talk, ensuring maximum high-frequency transmission efficiency in confined spaces.

How We Delivered

Complex geometries engineered solutions that move businesses forward.

Having Doubts? Our FAQ

Can Frigate customize the conductor shielding and gauge sizes for FEP cables to match specific industrial requirements?

Yes. While we maintain standard configurations, Frigate specializes in custom manufacturing. We can adapt conductor materials (such as silver-plated or tinned copper), gauge sizes (AWG), and add specialized braided or foil shielding to match your exact electrical and environmental specifications before formal procurement.

How do FEP insulated cables compare to PTFE cables regarding manufacturing and application?

While both offer exceptional thermal and chemical resistance, FEP is melt-processable, allowing us to extrude long, continuous lengths without splices. This results in superior dimensional consistency, tighter outer diameter tolerances, and excellent moisture sealing compared to standard PTFE.

What specific quality certifications and test reports does Frigate provide with an order?

Every production batch undergoes strict quality control. Upon request, we provide material compliance certificates (RoHS, REACH), spark test logs, insulation resistance data, and physical dimension reports to ensure the cables seamlessly clear your internal engineering and compliance audits.

We require a custom cable design for a high-volume project. Can we request a sample before committing to a full production run?

Absolutely. We support commercial procurement cycles by offering sample runs for validation testing. Our engineering team will review your drawings, manufacture a low-volume sample lot under our “Standard Sample” timeline, and assist with technical adjustments before scaling to bulk production.

How do these cables perform in continuous flexing applications, such as in robotic arms or automated machinery?

FEP provides excellent mechanical toughness and memory, making it highly effective for moderate-flex applications. For high-speed, continuous-duty robotic tracks, our engineers will optimize the internal copper stranding (utilizing Class 6 ultra-fine strands) to drastically improve the dynamic flex life of the final cable assembly.
