Complete electrical panels manufactured from your single-line diagram or specification — enclosure fabricated, components supplied and installed, wiring completed and labelled, Factory Acceptance Testing conducted, and full documentation package compiled before dispatch. Panels arrive at your installation site ready for connection and energisation. No wiring rework, no missing components, no documentation to chase. Manufactured to IEC 61439-1 across distribution, motor control, changeover, power factor correction, and general control panel types.
Frigate works from your single-line diagram — if a complete wiring schedule does not exist, the design team develops it from the SLD and submits it for your approval before the panel build begins. Component selection — MCB, MCCB, contactor, overload, busbar, and control device brands and ratings — is confirmed against your specification or project preference list. No component substitution is made without written confirmation. Wiring is sized per IEC 60364 current-carrying capacity, colour-coded to IEC standard, and terminated at both ends with numbered ferrules matching the wiring schedule. Every terminal is identified on the wiring schedule and on the terminal block itself.
Main distribution boards (MDB) and power distribution boards (PDB) carry the highest current ratings in Frigate’s panel range — incoming ACB or MCCB, copper or aluminium busbar rated to your maximum demand, outgoing MCCB or MCB feeder circuits, metering and power quality measurement provisions, and surge protection — all assembled, wired, and FAT-tested before dispatch.
Motor control centres (MCC) include direct-on-line, star-delta, and variable frequency drive starters in fixed or withdrawable formats; outgoing cable terminal compartments; control wiring to your interlocking and remote start/stop requirements; and ammeter and run/trip indication per starter unit. Changeover and automatic transfer switch (ATS) panels provide normal/standby source switching with manual, semi-automatic, or fully automatic transfer logic; generator start/stop interface wiring; and bypass and test facilities.

MDB and SDB panels for commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and infrastructure installations. Incoming ACB or MCCB, copper busbar, outgoing feeder circuits, metering provisions, and surge protection — assembled, wired, FAT-tested, and documented before dispatch.
DOL, star-delta, and VFD motor control centres for industrial processes, HVAC systems, water treatment, and manufacturing. Fixed and withdrawable starter formats; interlocking, remote start/stop wiring, and run/trip indication per your control philosophy.
Manual, semi-automatic, and fully automatic transfer switch panels for generator and UPS standby applications. Generator start/stop interface, load shedding provisions, and normal/standby source metering — designed from your transfer logic specification.
Automatic PFC panels for commercial and industrial facilities with reactive power penalties. Capacitor bank sizing per your power quality survey; harmonic filter provisions where harmonic distortion is a site concern; dedicated protection and metering.
PLC control panels, relay logic panels, instrumentation panels, and SCADA interface panels for process, manufacturing, and building services applications. Built from your control philosophy, I/O schedule, and instrument data sheets.
Distribution and control panels for water and wastewater treatment, transport infrastructure, substation auxiliary systems, and renewable energy installations. IP54 and IP65 formats for outdoor and semi-exposed installations with full FAT and project documentation.
At Frigate, quality is built into every stage of manufacturing. Our approved Quality Management System ensures that every material component.
Before production begins, all incoming materials are checked against specifications, drawings, and supplier documents.
Quality is monitored during manufacturing to prevent defects and maintain process consistency.
Finished parts are inspected before dispatch to confirm compliance with customer drawings and tolerances.
Finished components are packed safely to prevent damage during handling and transportation.
To help buyers evaluate our quality systems, we provide sample documents that reflect our inspection and reporting standards.
Complex geometries engineered solutions that move businesses forward.
Yes — the single-line diagram is the standard starting point. Frigate’s design team develops the wiring schedule, layout drawing, and schedule of quantities from the SLD and submits them for your review and approval before build begins. Where the SLD has gaps or ambiguities — protection relay settings, interlock logic, or control circuit detail — these are raised in the design review and resolved before procurement and fabrication start.
Witnessed FAT is accommodated within the production schedule with advance notice — typically 5 working days. Your client or consulting engineer attends Frigate’s facility during the testing session; all FAT test items are conducted in their presence and the FAT report is countersigned at the session. Advance scheduling ensures the panel is ready for testing before the visit date is confirmed so the witnessed session does not cause a programme delay.
Component brand and rating confirmation is part of the design review stage — Frigate confirms availability and lead time against your preference list before build is committed. Where a specified component is on extended lead time, Frigate flags this at design review with an alternative for your approval rather than substituting without consultation. No component substitution is made without your written confirmation.
Documentation format requirements are agreed at the design review stage before build begins. Frigate supplies as-built drawings, FAT report, and component data sheets in your specified format — PDF, editable CAD, specific document numbering convention, or O&M manual structure. Retrofitting documentation format after the panel is built creates rework; confirming it upfront costs nothing extra.
For multiple identical or similar panels within a single project, the design is developed once and replicated across all units — reducing design time, component procurement consolidation, and build setup time. Where panels are similar but not identical — different outgoing circuit counts or ratings — a common base design is developed with variant schedules for each panel, which reduces total design time compared to treating each panel as an independent project. All six panels are dispatched with a consistent documentation package and a single delivery schedule.
