Product Description

Frigate’s Bellows Seal Globe Valve features a multi-ply metallic bellows assembly that forms a hermetic seal around the moving stem, entirely isolating the process fluid from the atmosphere. Built for extreme conditions up to Class 1500# and 300°C, it serves as an impenetrable barrier against toxic, volatile, or costly media losses.

Do you provide material traceability certificates and EN 10204 3.1 certification with the shipment?

Yes. Every Frigate shipment includes complete Material Traceability Reports (MTRs), mill test certificates, heat numbers, and EN 10204 3.1 certification as standard practice to ensure full compliance with your plant’s quality asset management protocols.

What options are available for the Material of Construction (M.O.C.)?

We offer a versatile range of base materials depending on your fluid environment. Options include standard Carbon Steel (CS), Alloy Steel (AS), and Stainless Steel (SS), alongside highly corrosion-resistant alloys like Duplex (DSS), Super Duplex (SDSS), Monel, Hastelloy, and Inconel.

Can Frigate perform supplementary non-destructive testing (NDT) or helium leak testing prior to dispatch?

Absolutely. While all units undergo standard API 598 hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing, we can execute specialized client-witnessed or third-party NDT protocols—including Positive Material Identification (PMI), radiography, dye penetrant testing, and high-sensitivity helium mass spectrometer leak testing upon project request.

The standard specification lists threaded and welded ends; can you supply these valves with raised face (RF) flanges?

Yes. We can customize the end connections to integrate seamlessly into your existing piping layout. Our engineering team can weld matching slip-on or weld-neck flanges compliant with ASME B16.5 directly to the valve body and fully re-test the assembly before final packaging. 

Are Frigate valves compliant with international high-pressure standard protocols?

Absolutely. The Valve is strictly designed and manufactured to meet ASME B16.34 and API 602 standards, handling pressure classes from Class 800# up to Class 1500# with absolute structural integrity.
