Frigate uses multi-point latch systems calibrated to maintain equal pressure across the entire gasket perimeter. Each door undergoes mechanical cycle testing to verify compression set resistance of EPDM or silicone seals. Hinge alignment and door flatness are checked using digital calipers during QC. This ensures long-term ingress protection even after frequent opening and closing.
Frigate uses Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to simulate thermal gradients across dissimilar metals like aluminum and stainless steel. Mounting points are slotted or isolated to allow for expansion without structural deformation. All fasteners are selected based on differential thermal coefficients. This prevents stress buildup and ensures mechanical reliability under fluctuating ambient conditions.
Cable entry zones are electrically bonded to the enclosure wall using conductive gland fittings. Frigate applies ferrite cores or filtered bulkhead connectors for high-frequency suppression. Entry panels are configured with isolated zones for power, signal, and control wiring. These steps reduce coupling paths for common-mode and differential-mode noise.
Frigate uses internal partition plates made of conductive or non-conductive materials depending on insulation class. These partitions are installed with IEC 60204-1 compliant clearances and creepage distances. Signal wiring routes are physically segregated using cable trays and grommeted pass-throughs. This reduces the risk of dielectric breakdown and signal interference.
Frigate accounts for derated cooling efficiency and pressure differentials by integrating pressure relief valves or breather vents. Seals and gaskets are selected to maintain compression even under low atmospheric pressure. Components are secured with vibration-rated fasteners per MIL-STD-810F for airborne platforms. Design simulations consider altitude-induced mechanical and thermal stress profiles.
