Cast Iron Flanges

Handling fluid connections in utility, irrigation, or drainage systems often leads to issues like gasket blowouts or brittle cracking under thermal changes. Our Cast Iron Flanges offer stability under load conditions and thermal cycling, keeping line integrity intact in both municipal and industrial installations.

ASTM A395 (hydrostatic test), EN 10204 2.2

Gasket Compatibility

Full-face rubber/compressed fiber

Coating/Plating

Bituminous paint (AWWA C110), Fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE)

Manufacturing Method

Sand-cast (green/mold), Centrifugal-cast (for pipes)

Technical Advantages

Pipeline systems rely on flanges that maintain shape under pressure while resisting degradation. Our Cast Iron Flanges meet ASTM A126 and EN 1092-2, offering dependable performance across wide pressure and temperature ranges.

Cracked faces or corroded threads can disrupt system uptime. These flanges come with fusion-bonded epoxy or bitumen coating options, and we offer ductile variants with higher impact and fatigue resistance.

Industry Applications

Water Treatment Plants

Supports Class 125/150 line terminations, offering dimensional match with ductile iron pipe fittings.

Irrigation Channel Systems

Performs reliably in PN10-rated systems, connecting valves and riser lines with full-face gasket compatibility.

Fire Hydrant Assemblies

Integrates with standard hydrant tees, using epoxy-coated Cast Iron flanges for corrosion-resistance in city networks.

HVAC Ducting Installations

Matches fan coil units and heat exchangers in chilled water loops with FF flanges and UNC bolts.

Industrial Effluent Lines

Handles chemical drains using Ni-Resist coated ductile iron flanges, suited for mildly corrosive waste.

Sewage Pump Chambers

Works with slip-on connections for sludge discharge pipes where gasket sealing and bolt matching are critical.

Engineered to Hold Under Pressure

Utility networks need flanges that stay consistent over years of flow stress, thermal changes, and chemical contact. Our Cast Iron flanges support gasketed joints and match ASME B16.1 dimensions for easy integration across existing pipelines.

Long procurement cycles can affect replacement or expansion plans. We offer standard and special-size flanges with material test certificates, helping procurement teams meet compliance and delivery targets with ease.

Having Doubts? Our FAQ

Check all our Frequently Asked Question

Can your cast iron flanges handle acidic or corrosive media?

Yes, we offer Ni-Resist grade options specifically for acidic and mildly corrosive fluids. These flanges resist chemical pitting and last longer than standard gray iron. You can request them with the same dimensional standards.

Do these flanges support frequent installation or dismantling?

Our face flanges maintain uniform sealing even after repeated tightening cycles. Ductile iron variants handle torque loads better during frequent assembly. Choose UNC-threaded holes for easier bolt engagement during routine work.

What coating options do you offer for extended outdoor exposure?

We supply bituminous paint as standard for buried or damp installations. For above-ground exposure, you can request fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) coating. Both options meet AWWA C110 standards for long-term corrosion protection.

How do I confirm pressure compatibility across EN and ASME standards?

Our PN6 and PN10 models match Class 125/150 ratings for non-shock service. We provide pressure-temperature charts upon request for reference. You can align flange selection with both piping codes using these details.

Can these flanges be used with flexible rubber gaskets?

Yes, our flat face design supports full-face rubber or compressed fiber gaskets. This ensures even surface contact without gasket extrusion. Raised face types are not recommended unless reinforced.
