Threaded Flanges

If your process setup uses small pipe sizes under low pressure, weak sealing can cause leakage or failure. Our Threaded Flanges solve this with precision threading and easy weld-free connections for limited-space systems.

ASME B16.5, ASME B1.20.1 (NPT), BS 21 (BSP), DIN 259/2999, EN 10226

Pressure Rating

Class 150, 300, 600 (PN10 to PN40) [Lower pressure due to threaded connection]

Material

Carbon Steel (ASTM A105), Stainless Steel (ASTM A182 F304/F316), Brass (ASTM B62)

Nominal Size

½” to 4″ (DN15 to DN100) [Max 6″ (DN150) for low-pressure applications]

Flange Type

Threaded (TH) – Internal or external threads (NPT, BSPT, BSPP)

Product Description

Welding limitations or site constraints make threaded joints the practical choice in many industries. We manufacture these flanges in steel, stainless steel, and brass with accurate threads and certified compliance for smooth fitment.

Facing Type

Raised Face (RF), Flat Face (FF) Threaded (TH) – Internal or external threads (NPT, BSPT, BSPP)

Dimensions

Standard per ASME B16.5 [Custom thread lengths available]

Bolt Circle Diameter

ASME B16.5: Standardized per class/size; EN 1092-1: Metric series

Number & Size of Bolt Holes

4 to 8 holes (½” to ¾” bolts) [Limited due to small size range]

Surface Finish

Machined (125-250 RA), Zinc-plated (for carbon steel)

Corrosion Resistance

SS316: High resistance; Carbon Steel: Hot-dip galvanized/PTFE-coated

Temperature Rating

-29°C to +260°C [Limited by thread sealant/tape]

Material Certification

MTR, EN 10204 3.1, PED 2014/68/EU

Gasket Compatibility

Flat ring gaskets (non-metallic), PTFE tape/thread sealant required

Coating/Plating

Zinc, Electroless Nickel, Xylan (for thread protection)

Manufacturing Method

Forged (ASTM A105/A182), CNC-machined threads (precision-cut)

Technical Advantages

Weld-free joints make threaded flanges ideal for temporary setups or frequent disassembly. Our flanges meet ASME B16.5 and thread standards like NPT, BSPT, and BSPP, offering compatibility across industries.

We control thread accuracy with CNC machining, ensuring tight fit and minimal thread galling. These units support coatings like Xylan or zinc to delay corrosion, reducing lifecycle replacement costs.

Industry Applications

Compressed Air Piping

Supports quick assembly of low-pressure air distribution networks in packaging and automation setups.

Diesel Generator Systems

Threads connect fuel and coolant lines without sparks, ideal for no-weld installations in power rooms.

Pharma Utility Lines

Maintains joint integrity in CIP/SIP steam and water loops where welding is restricted or not feasible.

Chemical Transfer Skids

Enables easy fitting and removal of corrosive fluid lines using SS316 thread flanges.

Small HVAC Installations

Makes chill water loop terminations easier in compact mechanical rooms without weld permits.

Offshore Maintenance Units

Threaded brass options avoid welding on-site during urgent repairs in ATEX-classified zones.

Reliable Thread Connections for Site-Limited Installations

Many facilities avoid welding for safety or access reasons. Our Threaded Flanges offer a dependable solution with precise threading, corrosion coating, and certification-ready batches.

We support you with traceable MTRs and EN 10204 3.1 documents for regulated projects. Flanges ship ready for assembly with bolt circle conformity and thread protection, no extra prep needed.

Having Doubts? Our FAQ

Check all our Frequently Asked Question

Can you supply threaded flanges with BSPT threads instead of NPT?

Yes, we offer BSPT, BSPP, and NPT thread types as per BS 21, EN 10226, or ASME B1.20.1 standards. You can specify the thread type in your enquiry or PO. We machine threads using CNC lathes for consistent fit across all units.

How do you control thread quality for repeat production runs?

We use thread gauges for each lot and verify pitch, depth, and taper angle per order. CNC threading keeps the tolerance uniform across batches. All threads follow controlled inspection before dispatch.

Are these flanges suitable for steam or chemical lines?

For steam or chemical transfer, we recommend SS316 threaded flanges with PTFE tape or sealant. Our flanges handle up to 260°C but depend on gasket and sealant limits. We provide material traceability with each dispatch.

Is there a maximum pressure we should consider for threaded flanges?

Threaded flanges work best up to Class 300 or PN40 for non-cyclic or static pressure conditions. Beyond that, joint reliability may reduce due to thread stress. We mention max rating on every quote based on thread size.

Can we request electroless nickel coating or Xylan for specific environments?

Yes, we support both electroless nickel and Xylan coatings depending on the medium handled. You can select coating based on corrosion type, chemical, salt spray, or abrasion. We apply it post-machining to maintain thread form.
