Product Description

Our cables are designed with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) and thermoplastic elastomers (TPE) insulation, offering superior thermal resistance and mechanical strength. XLPE, in particular, provides higher thermal stability (up to 90°C) and resistance to electrical stresses, ensuring that the cable performs reliably in high-temperature and high-voltage applications. TPE coatings offer excellent flexibility and resistance to impact, abrasion, and UV degradation, making our cables ideal for indoor and outdoor installations.

Water Resistance

Suitable for submersible applications (IP68 rated)

UV Resistance

UV-stabilized coatings for outdoor use

Cross-sectional Area

1.5 mm² to 1000 mm² (varies by cable type)

Sheath Material

PVC, EPDM, or TPE for chemical and abrasion resistance

Armoring

Steel Wire or Aluminum Wire Armored (if required)

Current-Carrying Capacity

Up to 500A (varies by conductor size and application)

Flexibility

High flexibility (ideal for tight bends and dynamic applications)

Cable Size

Customizable per application, from 1.5 mm² to 1000 mm²

Outer Diameter

Varies by conductor size and insulation material (typically 5 mm to 50 mm)

Mechanical Protection

Enhanced abrasion and impact resistance

Standards Compliance

UL, IEC, RoHS, CE, and other industry-specific certifications

Technical Advantages

For applications in areas requiring enhanced safety features, Gladhand offers LSZH cables with low smoke emissions and no halogen release in the event of a fire. This significantly reduces the risk of toxic gas release, making our cables suitable for high-risk environments like tunnels, subways, and high-rise buildings. The low-smoke properties ensure that evacuation and emergency response efforts are safer in the case of a fire.

In industries where electromagnetic interference (EMI) can disrupt communication or control signals, Gladhand Electric Cables have foil and braid shielding to ensure signal integrity. Our cables incorporate multi-layered shielding techniques, such as aluminum mylar and copper braid shields, to protect against EMI, RFI (Radio Frequency Interference), and crosstalk. This shielding ensures your sensitive equipment operates without interference, even in electrically noisy environments.

Gladhand Electric Cables offers chemical-resistant jackets made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC), ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), and neoprene for environments exposed to harsh chemicals, oils, or abrasive conditions. These jackets withstand degradation from exposure to fuels, solvents, acids, and alkalis, ensuring that cables remain intact and reliable even in corrosive environments such as oil refineries, manufacturing plants, and chemical processing facilities.

Having Doubts? Our FAQ

Check all our Frequently Asked Question

What conductor materials are used in Gladhand Electric Cables, and why are they chosen?

Gladhand Electric Cables use oxygen-free and tinned copper for their high electrical conductivity, which minimizes power loss and ensures optimal performance in high-load conditions.

How do Gladhand Electric Cables ensure resistance to chemical exposure in industrial settings?

The cables are coated with chemically resistant EPDM and PVC jackets, protecting the wires from corrosive substances like acids, oils, and solvents in harsh industrial environments.

What is the temperature range of Gladhand Electric Cables in high-temperature applications?

Gladhand cables use cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, which allows them to operate at temperatures up to 90°C continuously and 130°C for short durations without compromising performance.

How do Gladhand Electric Cables maintain signal integrity in environments with high electromagnetic interference (EMI)?

Our cables feature foil and braid shielding that effectively blocks external EMI, ensuring reliable signal transmission for sensitive equipment in environments like factories and power plants.

What certifications do Gladhand Electric Cables meet for fire resistance and safety standards?
