Having Doubts? Our FAQ

Check all our Frequently Asked Question

What materials are used in Torpedo Cables to ensure durability in underwater applications?

Torpedo Cables are made from high-quality materials like polyethylene and polyurethane, which resist corrosion and abrasion. The outer sheath protects the internal conductors from harsh underwater conditions, such as saltwater and high pressure. These materials help ensure the cables remain functional over long periods, even in extreme environments.

How does the design of Torpedo Cables minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI)?

The design of Torpedo Cables includes multi-layer shielding that combines foil and braided copper layers. This structure effectively blocks electromagnetic interference (EMI) from external sources, ensuring high signal integrity. The shielding is essential for applications requiring precise data transmission, such as marine communication systems.

Can Torpedo Cables handle high-temperature environments, and what features support this?

Yes, Torpedo Cables can operate in high-temperature environments. They are equipped with heat-resistant insulation materials that can withstand temperatures up to 200°C (392°F). This insulation prevents overheating and maintains the cable’s performance, making it suitable for use in engine rooms and other hot areas.

How are Torpedo Cables tested for quality assurance before they are shipped?

Before shipping, Torpedo Cables undergo rigorous testing, including voltage and insulation resistance tests. Each batch is subjected to environmental stress tests that simulate real-world conditions, such as extreme temperatures and humidity. This ensures every cable meets industry standards for quality and performance, providing peace of mind to our customers.

What customization options are available for Torpedo Cables to meet specific project requirements?

Torpedo Cables offers several customization options, including conductor size, insulation type, and cable length variations. Customers can also request specific shielding configurations for enhanced EMI protection or unique color coding for easy identification. Our engineering team works closely with clients to create cables tailored to their project’s unique specifications.
