Frigate uses high-strand-count conductors and stress-relieved insulation systems to absorb mechanical deformation without conductor fatigue. All assemblies are tested under simulated dynamic loads replicating tracked vehicle and airborne vibration profiles. Overmolded strain relief and anchor points prevent internal conductor displacement. This approach maintains electrical continuity under high-G acceleration and repeated impact cycles.
Frigate employs multi-layer shielding architectures using copper braids and conductive polymer barriers with high coverage percentages. Signal geometry is controlled to maintain impedance and minimize reflection at high frequencies. Shield termination follows IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 for maximum ground path integrity. These measures collectively suppress EMI susceptibility and radiated emissions in multi-signal environments.
Frigate uses foamed polyimide and fluoropolymer combinations to manage insulation performance during pressure drops and thermal shifts. These materials prevent partial discharge and surface tracking in low-pressure environments. Each design is validated using altitude simulation and thermal cycling.
