Each cable is tested under reduced air density conditions to simulate high-altitude corona risk. UV- and ozone-resistant sheaths are applied to prevent surface erosion. This ensures dielectric integrity over long installation lifecycles.
Frigate uses dual-shielded construction with a helically-applied copper tape and a high-coverage braid. This design attenuates both low- and high-frequency interference from nearby power electronics. The shielding effectiveness exceeds 70 dB in the 10 kHz–100 MHz range. It helps maintain signal quality in Modbus and CAN networks.
