Brass Threaded Rods

If fasteners show thread misalignment or tolerance mismatch, assembly downtime and thread galling increase. Our Brass Threaded Rods maintain controlled pitch, straightness, and thread class across the full length.

0.05 lb/ft (M6) to 3.5 lb/ft (1″)

Lead-Free Status

Compliant (RoHS, NSF/ANSI 61 for potable water)

Technical Advantages

We manufacture threads using cold rolling for better fatigue strength and uniform pitch control. For non-standard thread forms or unique tolerances, we use machining with in-process inspection at every stage. Optional chamfered or reduced shank ends help avoid tool clashes in tight mounting points. Available coatings like PTFE or chrome further improve chemical resistance and reduce thread lockup in aggressive environments.

Industry Applications

Panel Mounting Structures

Long threaded rods support enclosure frames and junction panels with stable tension and quick cut-to-length adaptability.

Electrical Busbar Assemblies

Non-magnetic rods with natural brass or nickel coating help mount and space high-voltage components with no EMI interference.

Water Filtration Frames

ENP-coated rods resist scale and thread damage in damp filter tank environments where threaded connection integrity matters.

Industrial HVAC Units

Threaded rods handle structural loads inside fan and duct systems with vibration-resistant mounting using fine-pitch threads.

Automated Packaging Machines

Chamfered-end rods help position high-speed actuators and roller arms without burrs or thread shift under dynamic loads.

Furniture and Display Rigs

Custom rods fix panels and connectors across modular displays using M6–M12 threads with uniform thread engagement depth.

Long-Length That Match Real Assembly Needs

Brass rods need more than just size flexibility; they must thread cleanly, resist galling, and match assembly space constraints. We support thread forms across UNC, UNF, BSPP, and metric standards in both coarse and fine pitches.

Whether your application involves dielectric zones or high humidity, we supply rods with finish and tolerance fit that hold up across cycles. From low-weight mounting to heavy-load systems, we build rods that simplify your fastening design, not complicate it.

Having Doubts? Our FAQ

Check all our Frequently Asked Question

Can you match custom thread combinations on both ends of the rod?

Yes, we support dual-end threading with different forms like UNF one side and BSPP on the other. This helps connect dissimilar parts in compact assemblies. We machine thread starts precisely to avoid cross-threading during final fitting.

What tolerance control do you follow for thread pitch and straightness over long lengths?

We follow ISO 965-1 or Class 2A standards and check straightness across the full rod using live tooling and laser inspection. Even for 12-foot rods, pitch variation stays within 0.1 mm per meter. This avoids jamming or misalignment in long-span assemblies.

Can I order small batch quantities with specific chamfering or cut-end finish?

Yes, we support short runs with custom end treatments like single-end chamfer or reduced shank for embedded fittings. We also deburr manually when tooling access is limited. This helps buyers who need parts ready for tight insertion zones without post-processing.

What’s the typical lead time for rods with uncommon thread pitches or lengths?

For non-standard pitches or oversized rods, lead time is usually 10 to 14 working days. We hold tooling for most metric and inch threads, so changeover time stays minimal. Urgent runs can ship earlier if the bar stock grade is in stock.

How do you manage thread wear or damage risk during bulk shipment?

We use protective caps, bundled wrapping, and separate cartons for longer rods to avoid end thread collision. For chrome or ENP finishes, we add layer padding to reduce surface marking. This prevents rework or rejection during goods inward checks.
