Magnetic Drive Pumps

Leak-Prone Pumps in Chemical Lines Cause Frequent Shutdowns and Unsafe Working Conditions. Our Magnetic Drive Pumps remove seal failure risks entirely by using a fully enclosed, contact-free drive system.

Flow Rate Range

Pressure/Head Capacity

Up to 25 bar (362 psi) – Single-stage designs

Power Requirements

0.1 kW to 55 kW (0.13 HP to 75 HP) – 3-phase motors, 50/60 Hz, VFD compatible

Materials of Construction

Casing: PP, PVDF, SS 316, Hastelloy Impeller: Ceramic, SS 316, Carbon Magnet: Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) or Neodymium (NdFeB)

Fluid Compatibility

Corrosives, Volatiles, High-Purity Fluids – Ideal for acids, solvents, and toxic liquids

Product Description

You can benefit from lower fluid loss, zero VOC emissions, and fewer spare parts to stock. These magnetic drive pumps handle corrosive, volatile, and high-purity fluids across continuous-duty operations in chemical, pharma, and semiconductor plants.

Temperature Range

-40°C to 250°C (-40°F to 482°F)

Connection Types & Sizes

Flanged (ANSI/DIN), Threaded (BSP/NPT), Tri-Clamp (Sanitary) – Sizes: 15 mm to 100 mm (½” to 4″)

Mounting Configuration

Horizontal or Vertical – Close-coupled, foot-mounted, or ISO-standard baseplate

Magnetic Coupling Strength

Torque Range: 0.5 Nm to 300 Nm – Temperature-resistant magnets (up to 350°C with cooling)

Efficiency Rating

70% to 85% (lower than mechanical seal pumps due to eddy current losses)

NPSH Required

1.5 m to 5 m (5 ft to 16.4 ft)

Speed Range

1,450 RPM to 2,900 RPM – Lower speeds for viscous fluids

Solids Handling Capability

max 0.1% solids – Not for slurries/abrasives (risk of isolation gap clogging)

Certifications & Standards

ISO 5199, API 685, ATEX, FDA – Compliant for chemical, pharma, and hazardous areas

Operating Noise Level

< 70 dB(A) (quiet operation due to no mechanical contact)

Coupling System

Sealless Magnetic Drive – No physical shaft penetration (zero leakage)

Technical Advantages

Unlike traditional pumps with mechanical seals, our magnetic drive system operates without shaft penetration, preventing emissions and internal contamination. The wide temperature range from -40°C to 250°C supports both cryogenic and hot fluid duties in a single platform.
Eddy current loss is reduced with high-grade Samarium Cobalt magnets, preserving torque even at elevated speeds and ambient heat. Every pump undergoes hydrostatic pressure testing and run-in trials to validate head, flow, and NPSHr values before shipment.

Industry Applications

Fine Chemical Reactors

PP or PVDF casings resist strong acids while magnetic coupling prevents leak paths near operator zones.

Solvent Transfer Skids

Neodymium drive magnets maintain torque transfer for low-viscosity solvents with high vapor pressure.

Pharmaceutical Blending Units

Sanitary Tri-Clamp ports and FDA-compliant wetted parts ensure batch purity and clean-in-place compatibility.

Semiconductor Etching Stations

Hastelloy and ceramic internals prevent metal contamination under ultra-high purity demands.

Battery Electrolyte Handling

Sealless design eliminates air contact with reactive liquids like LiPF₆ and HF-based compounds

Hazardous Waste Recovery Systems

ISO 5199 and ATEX ratings meet site safety codes for flammable or toxic fluid recirculation.

Magnetic Drive Pumps

Application-Fit Pumping Without Sealing Failures

OEMs and project buyers receive complete configuration control including casing material, impeller type, and magnetic torque rating. We supply VFD-compatible models with ISO baseplate or close-coupled frames to match space and motor preferences.
Each unit includes traceable documentation for API 685 or ATEX Zone 1 compliance when specified. From corrosive loading bays to high-purity filling lines, our pumps reduce fluid loss, safety risks, and long-term service costs.

Having Doubts? Our FAQ

Check all our Frequently Asked Question

Can we specify exact casing and impeller material combinations based on our fluid profile?

Yes, we allow full customization of wetted parts based on the fluid’s chemical resistance needs. Buyers often choose combinations like Hastelloy casing with carbon or ceramic impellers for acid handling. We validate all selections using compatibility charts and past performance data.

Do you offer support for pump sizing based on specific head and flow rate curves?

We size the pump based on your system’s flow and pressure drop values instead of offering fixed models. Each build comes with performance curves, torque load data, and NPSHr mapping. This eliminates mismatch issues during installation or commissioning.

Can we define specific connection types and sizes based on our piping layout?

Yes, we support flanged (ANSI or DIN), threaded (BSP/NPT), and tri-clamp connections from 15 mm to 100 mm. You can match inlet and outlet sizes independently based on your skid or pipeline needs. We also accommodate reducers or adaptors if transition fittings are required.

What if our fluid contains trace solids or has vapor pressure risks?

We assess isolation gap clearance and internal flushing options if solids or degassing risk exists. For trace solids, we limit design to 0.1% and can include optional purge features. We can also build in external cooling jackets for vapor pressure control.

Do you offer different motor-mounting or VFD-ready integration options?

Yes, we support both horizontal and vertical mounting with options like close-coupled or baseplate formats. All motors are VFD-compatible with standard 50/60Hz ratings. This reduces the need for motor reconfiguration or extra drive unit investments.
