Streamlined Workflows for Faster Project Completion

Concurrent Engineering

We integrate design and fabrication processes, allowing for early identification and mitigation of potential manufacturability challenges. This minimizes rework and streamlines project timelines.

Design for Manufacturability (DFM) Expertise

Our engineers collaborate with your design team to ensure designs translate seamlessly into efficient and cost-effective fabrication processes.

Advanced Planning & Scheduling

We leverage Our own project management portal and techniques to ensure efficient resource allocation, on-time material procurement, and adherence to critical milestones.

Precision Fabrication for Unmatched Quality

Certified Welding Procedures

Our welders are qualified under industry-recognized standards ( AWS) employing certified procedures for various material combinations and thicknesses. This ensures exceptional weld quality and structural integrity.

Advanced Inspection Techniques

We utilize CMMs, ultrasonic testing, and other non-destructive testing (NDT) methods to verify dimensional accuracy, material properties, and weld integrity. This guarantees parts meet your exact specifications and comply with industry standards.

Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Our in-house FEA capabilities allow us to optimize designs for strength, weight, and performance. This minimizes the risk of design flaws and ensures structures can withstand intended loads and operating conditions.

Comprehensive Non-Destructive Testing Guarantees Reliability

We employ a comprehensive suite of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods to ensure every product’s structural integrity and functionality as per customer requirement.

  • Liquid Penetrant Testing
  • Magnetic Particle Testing (Production/Yoke method)
  • Ultrasonic Testing
  • Stress Relieving
  • Radiographic Testing
  • Radiographic Film Review
  • Leak Testing
  • Optical Level Inspection
  • Blasting Surface Finish Check
  • Painting DFT Check

Having Doubts? Our FAQ

Check all our Frequently Asked Question

How do different cutting methods apply to different types of metal?

Different cutting techniques offer different benefits depending on the metal being processed. Cutting plate and sheet metal was traditionally done with oxyacetylene and plasma. However, introducing laser technology, which offers sharper and cleaner cuts, has completely changed the sector. Further possibilities have been opened up by optic-fiber laser-cutting equipment, which provides superior results, more flexibility, and faster metal-cutting times.

What type of laser cutting works best with aluminum?

As a highly reflective material, aluminum is not resistant to high temperatures. So, the laser of choice would be a CO2 laser at a slower cutting speed.

What other processes do you offer?

Frigate offers a range of cutting-edge processes, including CNC gas/plasma cutting, water jet cutting, and hot rolling. Additionally, we provide high capacity forming press services to meet diverse manufacturing needs.

How do you ensure quality and precision in heavy engineering processes?

At Frigate, we use strict quality control procedures, state-of-the-art equipment, a highly qualified team, and adherence to industry standards and best practices to guarantee quality and accuracy in heavy engineering operations.
