Hydraulic Test Pumps

How can manufacturers validate component strength and seal integrity under extreme pressures without risking test inaccuracies or equipment failure? Our Hydraulic Test Pumps deliver controlled, high-pressure output across a wide range of flow rates for demanding verification processes.

Flow Rate Range

0.1 L/min to 300 L/min (0.026 GPM to 79 GPM) – Precision control for test protocols

Pressure/Head Capacity

100 to 10,000 bar (1,450 to 145,000 psi) – Multi-stage intensifiers available

Power Requirements

0.5 kW to 30 kW (0.67 HP to 40 HP) – 220V/380V, 50/60Hz, manual/hydraulic drive

Materials of Construction

Pump Head: Hardened Steel, SS 316 Plunger: Tungsten Carbide, Ceramic

Fluid Compatibility

Hydraulic Oil, Water Glycol, Test Fluids (per ASTM/ISO) – Avoid abrasives

Product Description

Low repeatability and seal failures during qualification tests often lead to project delays. These hydraulic test pumps use hardened steel heads, ceramic plungers, and graphite seals to ensure leak-proof performance across 100 to 10,000 bar pressure.

Temperature Range

5°C to 80°C (41°F to 176°F) – Thermal compensation for critical tests

Connection Types & Sizes

1/4″ to 1″ – High-pressure fittings (JIC, NPT, BSPP) – 10,000+ psi rated

Mounting Configuration

Bench-Mounted or Mobile Skid – With pressure gauge/transducer mounts

Seal System

High-Pressure Packing (Graphite/PTFE) or Metal Seals – Zero-leak at max pressure

Efficiency Rating

85% to 95% – Direct-drive designs minimize losses

NPSH Required

Not Applicable – Positive displacement operation

Speed Range

20 to 500 strokes/min – Manual pumps: 1-2 strokes/sec

Solids Handling Capability

0 µm – Filtration to 3 µm absolute required

Certifications & Standards

ASME B40.100, ISO 17025, PED – Calibration certificates available

Operating Noise Level

< 70 dB(A) – Quiet operation (pneumatic drives louder)

Coupling System

Direct Drive (Crankshaft) or Hand Lever

Technical Advantages

Conventional pumps often fail under thermal cycling and mixed fluid testing. Our pumps use temperature-rated elastomers and thermal compensation to maintain performance from 5°C to 80°C.

High internal friction wastes power and distorts test results. Direct-drive designs improve mechanical efficiency to 95%, minimizing losses in continuous operations.

Hydraulic Test Pumps

Pumps for Pressure-Critical Applications

Generic pumps may not align with your exact test parameters or mounting setups. We build each unit to match your drive type, flow demand, and pressure class.

Our hydraulic test pumps support non-standard test fluids and come with certificates per ISO 17025, ASME B40.100, and PED. Choose configurations that reduce your downtime while meeting your validation standards.

Having Doubts? Our FAQ

Check all our Frequently Asked Question

Can you match the pump's output to our test procedure requirements?

Yes, we adjust the flow rate and pressure stages to match your test cycles and sample type. Multi-stage intensifiers or low-volume options are available based on your validation needs. We also support ramp control and dwell functions where required.

Can we choose specific drive types and control methods for our setup?

You can select between manual lever, crankshaft, or hydraulic motor drives based on test repeatability and energy input preferences. We offer both fixed and variable speed control based on your process. Panel-based actuation or remote PLC input can also be integrated.

Do you supply fluid handling systems matched to our test fluid and contamination limits?

Yes, we match wetted parts and seals to your fluid, including water glycol and non-conductive oils. We include in-line filtration down to 3 microns absolute to avoid component scoring. For abrasive or special fluids, we provide compatibility checks during presales.

Can you design the skid layout to fit our test bay or mobile rig?

We build pumps on compact benches or mobile skids based on your spatial and handling limits. Mounting holes, lifting hooks, and hose routing options are adapted to your layout. If needed, we also add space for test gauges and loggers on the frame.

What is the typical lead time for a custom hydraulic test pumps?

Lead time depends on your pressure range, flow rate, and required certifications. For most custom builds, we dispatch within 4 to 6 weeks after design freeze. Urgent builds with pre-approved specs can ship in 2 weeks with prior confirmation.
